Raise is No Suprise!

I came to Victory Family Church as a skeptic and a doubter. Everything changed when I came and God spoke to me through Nancy James and by the demonstration of love expressed to me by the church body. I have been so blessed by the gifts of money and love. These acts of love moved me and at first I did not know how to respond. I was so thankful to God that I gave the majority of the money in the offering. On Sunday I gave the remaining money to a missionary for his work in Mexico.

On the following Tuesday the secretaries at my job called me into the office and told me that I had received a raise. They commented that it was unusual considering that I had received one less than two months before. The raise was no surprise to me. I knew that this would be a normal part of my life from now on! I believe that the money given to me served two purposes, one was to help further the kingdom of God and the other was to simply teach me how to hear and respond to the voice of God. God speaks to me everyday; I hear Him and follow His plan for my life.
