The Desires of Your Heart

During a meeting with Sister James in Iowa, she asked for all those believing God for a miracle, to plant a seed into the ministry. For quite sometime, our family’s dream was to own a vacation home on a nearby lake. We planted a faith seed that evening, a small down payment for the purchase price of the property.

As we wrote the check, we could not help but notice that the background picture on the check was a home overlooking the sea! As a reminder of the seed we had planted that night, we laminated the cancelled check from Triumph Ministries and placed it on our refrigerator. As the months passed, we continued to sow a monthly partner seed and continued to believe for the miraculous.

As we moved forward with our search for lake property, one particular property seemed to stand out from the rest. It was one of only two empty lots remaining on the entire lake and it was a choice location! The only problem was that the owners did not want to sell. Although they were saying “NO”, we believed God was saying “YES!”

After six months and multiple attempts to purchase the property, we received a phone call from the owners at 7:50 p.m. on the evening of February 18, saying that they would sell us the property. Less than a year after the miracle seed was planted, our dream was about to become a reality.

God is so good, so faithful, and true to His Word. Triumph Ministries is indeed fertile ground! We will be celebrating the 4^th of July in our new lake home this year, and on the refrigerator…as a reminder of God’s goodness…will be the cancelled seed check from Triumph Ministries!
